Nick Jonas Opens Up About Family Strength, Tour Plans, and Life with Priyanka

American pop star Nick Jonas has revealed that his father’s past battle with colon cancer made their family stronger and closer. His father, Kevin Jonas Sr, was diagnosed in 2017 and has been in remission since 2018.

In an interview with People magazine, the 32-year-old singer shared how difficult times can bring families together. “The more emotionally challenging periods really test your endurance,” he said. “But our dad was a true champion. He faced everything with bravery and thoughtfulness. That helped all of us stay strong while we tried to support him.”

Nick added that everyone in the family had their own way of dealing with the situation, but coming through it united them more than ever. “I’m so grateful we got to the other side of that and became closer as a family,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers—Nick, Kevin, and Joe—announced their JONAS20: Living the Dream Tour earlier this year. Nick said their music has “aged very well” and still connects with fans of all ages.

“The fans who were our age back when we started are now grown up like us,” Nick explained. “They’re even bringing their kids to our shows. And their parents, who came with them years ago, still want to be part of it.”

In a lighter moment, Nick recently shared a romantic Instagram reel with his wife, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, during a beach vacation. The video featured the Jonas Brothers’ new song, “I Can’t Lose”.

It started with Nick alone on the beach, looking sad, with the words: “Without her 😢.” Moments later, Priyanka runs to him and jumps into his arms. The couple shares a sweet kiss as the words change to: “With her! 😍🥰.”

Nick captioned the post simply: “I can’t lose.”
