Google Launches Smarter AI Search in Hindi for Users Worldwide

Google has launched a new AI-powered Search feature in Hindi for users all over the world. This update, powered by Gemini 2.5, makes it easier to ask detailed or complex questions and get more useful and personalized answers — all in Hindi.

The feature is now available globally after a successful launch in English in India earlier this year. According to Google, users were impressed with how well the AI handled difficult or layered questions in English, and now Hindi speakers will get the same experience.

AI mode in Search is designed to save time by answering questions that would normally take multiple searches. It can also respond to different types of input — you can ask questions using text, your voice, or even pictures.

“AI is changing how people use Search. We’re excited to bring AI mode to Hindi and can’t wait to see how people use it,” said Hema Budhraju, VP of Product Management at Google Search.

She explained that making Search work well in different languages isn’t just about translation. It takes an understanding of local culture and context — and that’s where Gemini 2.5’s advanced AI comes in. It can handle subtle language details and give smarter answers.

For example, if someone asks about “night-blooming, aromatic flowers for a peaceful garden,” the AI can understand all those details and give suggestions that match exactly what the person is looking for.

With this update, Google aims to make Search more helpful and accessible, especially for people who prefer using Hindi. The company says this is part of its goal to make information easier to explore — no matter what language you speak.
