Kiku Sharda Clears the Air: Still Part of Kapil’s Show, Joins ‘Rise & Fall’ After Wrapping Season
Actor Kiku Sharda is stepping into the upcoming streaming reality show Rise & Fall, but fans don’t need to worry about his place on The Great Indian Kapil Show. He has already completed filming for the current season of Kapil’s comedy show and will return for the next season once production begins.
Recently, rumors suggested Kiku had quit the comedy show or taken a break so he could focus on Rise & Fall. Some reports even hinted at a fallout with fellow actor Krushna Abhishek. However, sources close to the team have clarified that none of this is true. Kiku wrapped up all his work for the current season before joining Rise & Fall, so there was no sudden exit or unfinished commitment.
The talk of tension with Krushna has also been dismissed. The two share a professional and friendly relationship, and any videos that looked like arguments were simply scripted comedy bits from the show.
Kiku remains an important part of The Great Indian Kapil Show and will continue to be a permanent member of the cast. His move to join Rise & Fall is simply a new project in his career, not a replacement for his role on Kapil’s show.
Fans can expect to see him in Rise & Fall with a clean slate, free of other commitments, while still knowing he’ll be back on stage for more laughter in future seasons of the comedy show.
