Vir Das Returns with Global Comedy Special ‘Fool Volume’ on Netflix

Comedian Vir Das is back with his fifth Netflix special, Vir Das: Fool Volume, filmed across Mumbai, New York, and London. The trailer promises his trademark mix of sharp humor and heartfelt storytelling, tackling themes like self-doubt, silence, and finding joy in chaos.

Das, the first Indian comedian with five Netflix specials, said, “Comedy connects us—whether you’re in London, New York, or Mumbai, laughter sounds the same.” His previous specials, including the Emmy-winning Landing, have put Indian comedy on the global stage.

Netflix India’s Tanya Bami praised Das for blending local perspectives with universal appeal, calling this special “poignant and comic.” Fool Volume streams on June 18.
