Actor Matt Damon has expressed interest in returning as Jason Bourne for a new instalment of the popular action franchise. He said he would be eager to reprise the role if the project has the potential to deliver a great film under director and writer Edward Berger.
Damon first played the CIA assassin in The Bourne Identity (2002) and later appeared in The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum, and Jason Bourne.
The actor is also currently receiving praise for his role as Odysseus in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic The Odyssey, which is based on Homer’s ancient Greek tale and features a major ensemble cast.
