Shilpa Shetty Gets First Autograph from Husband Raj Kundra as His Punjabi Film ‘Mehar’ Releases

Mumbai, Sep 5 – Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty had a sweet moment with her husband Raj Kundra as his first Punjabi film Mehar hit theatres. She received her very first autograph from him—and captured the moment in a fun video shared on Instagram.

In the clip, Shilpa, Raj, and their son Viaan are seen at a movie theatre. Raj signs a tissue for her, and Shilpa jokes, “First autograph. Abhi tak cheque par leti thi main” (Until now, I only took cheques from him). Raj writes, “Raj loves you only,” which he reads aloud as Shilpa smiles proudly.

She captioned the post:
“My first autograph from my forever Hero 💕
Wishing you all the best for your foray into the Punjabi film industry. I’m beyond proud of you and your honest performance in Mehar. May this film bring you huge success.

Mehar tells the emotional story of Karamjit, a man from rural Punjab who tries to regain his lost dignity as a father, husband, and son. Though life has brought him down, he finds the strength to rise again and prove his worth to his family.

Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty got engaged in 2009 and married later that year. They have two children—a son born in 2012 and a daughter born via surrogacy in 2020.

Shilpa was last seen in Sukhee, a light-hearted film about a 38-year-old housewife who escapes her daily routine to attend a school reunion. Over one life-changing week, she rediscovers herself and steps back into her identity as a woman—not just a wife or mother.
